Ciprian Porumbescu School (gymnasium)

Our school was established in 1866, thus being one of the oldest educational institutions in Comănești city. It worked in several locations, of which the most famous is the Ghika Palace ( http://en.infoturism-moldova.ro/location/the-dimitrie-ghika-museum-of-ethnography ), where the Museum of Ethnography and Art of the same name is today. Starting with 1970, the school operates in the current location located at about 500m from the train station and bus station in the city and in the vicinity of the Ghika Palace.
