Association de Développement rural international du Bas Ségala / International Rural Development Association of Bas Ségala (ADRIBS) is a non-profit organization which was established in 2018. Tayrac is a small village located south west of France. ADRIBS’ team consist of 9 members and 16 volunteers. With the contribution and participation of local communities, local authorities, volunteers, other NGOs, farms, entrepreneurs, schools, etc. and with the funding opportunities from local authorities or European Commission ADRIBS aims to - develop and implement projects in the field of rural development, personal development, youth work, education, entrepreneurship, tourism, environment; - host volunteers during specific projects; - organize workshops about rural development, hippo(horse) therapy, permaculture, cultural heritage, alternative tourism, youth employability; - organize cultural activities to promote inclusion of community; - contribute to the improvement of youth with disabilities such as intellectual disabilities or mental diseases or disadvantages through using alternative methods such as hippo(horse) therapy; - to promote Erasmus + Program around its region; - contribute active citizenship. The economic resources of the region are mainly coming from agriculture and farming that is why new generations prefer to migrate to bigger cities. In order to develop new business areas to combat against migration ADRIBS wants to play a role in the social and economic development of the region. The staff of ADRIBS is experienced in the field of project development, rural development, business matching, training, non-formal education, networking, youth work, voluntary work, farming, horse therapy, translation, music, sports(especially horse-riding, bike-riding). Activities develop and implement projects in the field of rural development, personal development, youth work, education, entrepreneurship, tourism, environment organize cultural activities to promote inclusion of community; contribute to the improvement of youth with disabilities such as intellectual disabilities or mental diseases or disadvantages through using alternative methods such as hippo(horse) therapy; host volunteers during specific projects; organize workshops about rural development, hippo(horse) therapy, permaculture, cultural heritage, alternative tourism, youth employability. The Latin name refers to Toulouse, the biggest town on the route. Tayrac is close to Touluse. It is a great advantage for organization of international projects; dissemination of up-coming projects; finding participants for training or project meetings.
