Terragena was born from the desire to find a valid alternative to conventional building, producing materials for green building, such as base and finishing plasters in baked clay, unfired bricks, earthenware, baked kaolin, clay floors and more. Using natural materials, such as earth, inside your home, means choosing to respect not only the environment, but also the well-being of man. In a context where increasing attention is paid to green building, the use of simple materials, not chemically treated and available in one's own territory, becomes essential. Terragena products are all eco-sustainable as the working earth comes from the clay quarries of Grignano belonging to the Fornace, and is free from any addition of sludge or industrial powders. Clay, accompanied by other natural materials, is the basis for making plasters, unfired bricks, floors, insulating panels, etc. In addition to not containing synthetic chemical elements, clay is a valid insulator from electromagnetic fields and an excellent thermal insulator capable of maintaining the optimal temperature in both summer and winter.
