Karabağlar Youth Center

Our youth center is an institution of the Ministry of Youth and Sports. Our center serves children and young people between the ages of 7-29 with sportive, social, cultural activities, workshops and social responsibility projects. There are approximately 8000 members registered in our center. Karabağlar Youth Center provides training in dozens of activities such as volleyball, basketball, Taekwando, boxing, archery, wushu, chess and intelligence games, painting, handicrafts, computer coding, computer operation, guitar, bağlama, English, diction, drama, model airplane making. It also organizes joint activities with many local and foreign non-governmental organizations such as UNICEF, IOM, ASAM, Turkish Red Crescent. Within the scope of the Social Adaptation Project, Turkish education trainings for foreigners are organized in cooperation with UNICEF. We also organize youth camps. We organize city trips with young people. On certain days and weeks, special events are organized for those days. In this context, we organize activities such as visits to animal shelters, meetings with disabled youth, visits to nursing homes. Activities such as planting saplings, visits to places and people damaged by natural disasters are also within the scope of our center's social responsibility projects. In addition, we organize local and national poetry, music, theater and knowledge competitions.
