EvalYemen

Establishment EvalYemen is a national organizational network, established on March 16, 2018, as Non-Governmental Non-Profit Organization, with a license from the Ministry of Social Affairs and Labor No. (18-288) and started its work in August 2020. Since its establishment, EvalYemen became a Voluntary Organization for Professional Evaluation (VOPE) in 2020 as a member of the International Organization for Cooperation in Evaluation (IOCE) and a board member of EvalMENA. Vision The organization aims to enhance the professional capacities of the Monitoring, Evaluation, Accountability, and Learning (MEAL), to spread the evaluation culture, and to provide institutional support to the government sector, civil society organizations, and the private sector through a set of actions, building effective partnerships with the common interest parties at the national, regional and international levels. Mission Develop and promote evaluation culture and practices related to humanitarian relief and development, sustainable development goals, youth, gender, and the environment in the public sector, non-governmental organizations, and the private sector through a set of actions and in cooperation with all stakeholders. EvalYouth Yemen As part of EvalYemen effort to create a special space for youth in Yemen while working to build their capacities in M&E, the EvalYouth Yemen chapter is a national voluntary youth network that aims to promote Young and Emerging Evaluators (YEEs), including young women, to become competent, experienced and well-networked professionals who contribute to evaluation capacity at the national level.
