La Polea

La Polea is a non-profit cooperative whose main mission is to generate a positive impact in rural areas. Andalusian, addressing the challenge of depopulation through the creation of new services, the promotion of youth employment and the development of the feeling of rootedness. For this, it is dedicated to thinking, developing and implementing educational processes in three different areas, but interconnected with each other: environmental education, education in values and education for equality. All this is done from the theoretical perspective of popular education, since it is based on the premise that everything that that crosses us in our day to day is political and, therefore, we not only have the mission of apprehending the world that surrounds us, but we also have the duty to transform it. In this way, issues such as the pedagogy of the question, respect for the autonomy of students, the revaluation of popular knowledge and the gamification of learning are fundamental axes in our organization.
