MAIN TASKS AND FUNCTIONS The main tasks of the Office are to ensure the implementation of state policy in the field of youth, physical culture and sports, national-patriotic education, children's health and recreation. Management, in accordance with the tasks assigned to it, ensures: 1) formation of state policy on the territory of the region in the field of physical culture and sports, the youth field, national-patriotic education, children's health and recreation; 2) development and implementation of regional comprehensive and targeted programs for the development of physical culture and sports, youth, national-patriotic education, children's health and recreation; 3) organization and holding of information events aimed at supporting national-patriotic education, youth, popularization of a healthy lifestyle, physical culture and sports, and the level of legal culture of youth; 4) within the limits of the powers provided by law, taking measures to form young people a responsible attitude to family planning, preparing young people for family life, forming in them an understanding of the importance of the role of the family, raising children for the development of the state and ensuring social harmony; 5) carrying out activities in the region aimed at popularizing and establishing a healthy lifestyle, humanist values, national consciousness and patriotic feelings of young people, organizing their meaningful leisure time, conducting informational and educational work to combat the spread of socially dangerous diseases in the youth environment; 6) implementation of the "Youth Worker" program, implementation of measures to train and improve the qualifications of specialists (specialists, volunteers, activists, trainers and multipliers) in the field of youth and the field of national-patriotic education; 7) coordination of activities on issues of social formation and development of youth, as well as development of children's, children's and youth sports, reserve sports, mass sports, sports of higher sports achievements, service-applied and military-applied sports, sports of persons with disabilities, sports of veterans; 8) taking measures together with the interested bodies of the executive power to develop a network of children's and youth sports schools, schools of higher sports skills, Olympic training centers, specialized sports education institutions with specific training conditions, provides organizational and methodological support for their activities; 9) organizing and holding physical culture and sports events among the general population, involving them in physical culture and sports, ensuring the promotion of a healthy lifestyle; 10) organization of work on the preparation of the sports reserve; activities of the regular reserve sports team; 11) providing children and youth sports schools of the first category in accordance with the current legislation; 12) carrying out, in accordance with the current legislation, certification of trainers (trainers-teachers) of physical culture and sports institutions to determine their professional readiness, assignment of the appropriate qualification category based on the performance indicators of the athletes they trained; 13) implementation of measures for the social protection of athletes, in particular athletes with disabilities, sports veterans, coaches, other specialists in physical education and sports, in the cases determined by the current legislation; 14) compliance by physical culture and health and sports organizations with the standards of sports classification, regulations on physical culture and sports; 15) preparation and holding of educational and training meetings of athletes participating in sports competitions of various levels; 16) approval in accordance with the established procedure of the unified calendar plan of physical culture and sports events for the region for the year, formation and approval of calendar plans for sports competitions and educational and training meetings in accordance with the Unified calendar plan of physical culture and sports events; 17) approval of the provisions and regulations of regional sports competitions, applications for the participation of sports teams in competitions; 18) organization and holding of events provided for by calendar plans of physical culture and health and sports events, within the limits of the funds allocated for the development of physical culture and sports; 19) organization of information-educational, cultural-educational, methodical and scientific-practical seminars, training seminars, camps, competitions, actions, round table meetings, conferences, forums, contests, other events; 20) implementation within the scope of powers of measures to intensify international cooperation on issues within its competence; 21) implementation of measures to prevent and detect corruption in accordance with the legislation; organization of a special verification of information on persons applying for positions related to the performance of state functions; 22) implementation within the scope of the powers of the state policy regarding state secrets; 23) efficient, effective and targeted use of budget funds; 24) provision of administrative services in the cases and in the order determined by the current legislation.
