Esplugues de Llobregat is a city of around 46.000 inhabitants that is part of the Metropolitan Area of Barcelona and acts as a Gateway to Barcelona City. Esplugues has been long commited to develop actitivies that foster knowledge and capabilities of its young population regarding fields such as innovation, new technologies, reducing the gender-gap, STEAM fields, mental health, sustainability, healthy habits... While promoting knowledge and activites in this fields, Esplugues de Llobregat also takes into consideration the participation of its youth as a key cornerstone in its public policies.
