ImpattoZero srl

ImpattoZero S.r.l. is a forward-thinking company focusing on revolutionizing the agricultural market through an AI-powered vertical solution with a global expansion vision. The company has invested significantly in its growth and development, having received funding from various sources, funding from the UIA European calls, the Frosinone Chamber of Commerce, and the Lazio Region, among others. ImpattoZero s.r.l. operates as a spin-off of the Alimenta2Talent certified incubator of the PTP Science Park. ImpattoZero’s core offering is a unique AI digital “farm to fork” service, coupled with aquaponics. Customers can either rent or purchase cultivated plant space and avail of the farming on demand services. The company excels in engineering biotechnology in soilless agriculture, designing and building agricultural plants that are either indoor or greenhouse-based. These plants use patented aquaponic technology, and the company is transitioning towards direct production and developing a one-to-one business model with customers. The company aims to address several critical issues in the agricultural sector, including the contamination of plant and fruit products with chemicals, the depletion of nutrients in vegetables due to soil degradation, and the lack of food sovereignty. Their solution emphasizes the production of healthy, nutrient-rich crops, traceability of treatments and fertilizers using blockchain technology, and digital biodiversity catalogues for cultivation plans. ImpattoZero’s approach is distinct in its use of patented technologies to create natural ecosystems between fish and plants in aquaponic systems, which enhances the nutritional value and taste of products. Their model includes vertical farming for efficient space utilization and detachable cultivation towers for ergonomic farming. The company distinguishes itself from competitors by offering a unique blend of technology and customer-centric solutions. They have patented technologies for enhanced production quality, AI-based ecosystem management, and innovative marketing strategies that focus on customer needs. Their main competitors are other vertical farming providers and online organic grocery shops, but ImpattoZero stands out with its comprehensive approach, including post-sales services, virtual farming services, financial support, and consultancy. ImpattoZero S.r.l. plans to acquire customers through a B2B strategy, online and offline media channels, technology demonstration sites, and an Agricoltura2.0 online catalogue. They aim to create a strong brand image around eco-friendly, high-quality food and introduce innovative concepts for the HORECA sector. The company has already made significant progress, with more customer requests than production capacity, plans for a new industrial environment in Milano, and the implementation of AI technology. Their revenue model involves selling products to organized distribution, offering yearly farming plans to individuals, and opening their technology and business model to investors. ImpattoZero S.r.l. is based in Italy, with plans to establish a base in the US and other international locations. Their approach is a testament to their commitment to transforming the agricultural market through sustainable, innovative, and customer-focused solutions.
