Hope of Youth (HoY) is a non-profit organisation based in Athens, Greece, committed to empowering young people across Europe through education, participation, and innovation. The organisation works at the intersection of youth engagement, digital transformation, environmental sustainability, mental well-being, and solidarity, supporting young people to become active contributors to inclusive and resilient societies. Founded in 2023 by a group of young professionals with experience in the European Solidarity Corps, HoY was created with a shared vision to build a dynamic platform for youth-led action. The organisation responds to the evolving social, environmental, and digital challenges facing young Europeans by promoting collaboration, civic responsibility, and skills development at local and European levels. HoY has solid experience relevant to the Erasmus+ Programme, particularly in promoting inclusion, volunteering, and active participation. Its core areas of activity include: Inclusion & Civic Engagement: Designing and implementing youth-led initiatives that foster social inclusion, democratic participation, and community cohesion, with a strong focus on reaching young people with fewer opportunities. Environmental Sustainability: Delivering awareness-raising and practical actions on environmental protection, climate responsibility, and sustainable lifestyles. Digital Transformation: Strengthening young people’s digital and transversal skills, including digital literacy, innovation, and responsible use of technology. The organisation’s team combines technical, research, and project management expertise. HoY’s project manager brings strong experience in IT solutions, cloud-based systems, and international project coordination. At the same time, its research staff contributes expertise in data analysis, scientific research, and NGO programme development. The team is actively engaged in Erasmus+ projects, ensuring high-quality implementation, monitoring, and impact. Officially registered as an NGO in September 2024, Hope of Youth actively participates in Erasmus+ Key Action 1 (Youth Exchanges, Training Courses, Youth Participation) and Key Action 2 (Cooperation Partnerships and Capacity Building), with a strong commitment to European cooperation, innovation, and long-term sustainability.
