It works in the field of solidarity and international cooperation. C.M.D. fosters dialogue with marginalized communities around the world through its missionaries, supporting social projects mainly in Rwanda, Brazil, Burkina Faso, Thailand/Vietnam, as well as smaller efforts in India and Congo. Key areas of focus include health (fighting AIDS, child malnutrition, blindness, disabilities, and neonatal mortality), education (combating illiteracy, supporting at-risk children, and vocational training), and the use of renewable energy to provide electricity and water for civil, health, and agricultural needs. At the local level: It promotes educational programs in schools and for citizens on topics such as sustainable lifestyles, critical consumption, intercultural and interreligious dialogue, global inequalities, food sovereignty, human mobility rights, and environmental sustainability. C.M.D. also offers training for those interested in mission work and acts as a voice for the world’s marginalized, providing critical and unfiltered information. It organizes local events, debates, and film festivals to raise awareness of global social and geopolitical issues. Additionally, it supports youth exchanges and mission experiences worldwide.
