Creaio

Creaio is a cultural organisation based in Asturias, Spain. Its mission is to empower creators, artists, professionals and creative and cultural organisations to progress alongside science and society. Creaio’s vision is to create a more creative, sustainable and inclusive world through arts and culture. In order to achieve its mission and vision, Creaio focuses on four main objectives: 1) to foster cross-sectoral collaboration between the cultural sector and different sectors such as the technology, ecotourism, environment and sport sectors, 2) to encourage rural and local development as well as the involvement of their communities, 3) to integrate the principles of the circular and ecological economics into the creative and cultural sectors and 4) to promote inclusive participation and the involvement of displaced individuals and vulnerable groups. The organisation targets creators, artists, individual professionals and organisations from the creative and cultural sectors, with a special focus on young people, people from rural and remote areas, and vulnerable groups of people such as women, refugees and persons with disabilities.
