It carries out training and internship activities for the dissemination of the art of clay manipulation and ceramic decoration. All of these initiatives are mainly meant to develop sensibility, creativeness in connection with the planned education school programmes. In this regard, we strongly believe that art, by promoting individual introspection as well as a careful external glance at people and things around us, is the right tool to teach how to understand the world. Humus also provides recreational activities to all citizens and temporary visitors and tourists with workshops and labs closely linked to the local economy and traditions, which usually end with events such as the ' The Mug Party' or in Italian 'La Festa dei Boccali' which sees the interaction of over 100 artists in the management of workshops and the creation of works celebrating the arrival of autumn. The Association coordinates the 'Hub of Ceramics' in Rufoli which sees the interaction of important cultural elements of the territory (Provincial Museum of Ceramics, the Museum of Creative City of Ogliara, important figures of the ceramic art of Salerno and Vietri Sul Mare, as well as various cultural and voluntary associations.
