Bartin University

Bartın University was established with the Law dated 22 May 2008 and numbered 5765. While the School of Physical Education and Sports was affiliated to the Rectorate of Zonguldak Karaelmas University, its name and connection were changed and connected to the Rectorate of Bartın University. Bartın University School of Physical Education and Sports was deemed appropriate to continue its academic activities under the name of Faculty of Sports Sciences with the Presidential Decree published in the Official Gazette dated 17.04.2019 and numbered 968. In our faculty, 54 students were admitted to the Department of Physical Education and Sports Teaching in the academic year. In the academic year, the Department of Coaching Education (1st and 2nd Education) and in the academic year, the Department of Recreation (1st and 2nd Education) were opened and students started to be admitted to this department. As of the autumn semester of the academic year, the Department of Sports Management started to admit students with Article 1 of the Senate Decisions numbered 29/12/2015-19. The programmes offered in our faculty consist of the Department of Physical Education and Sports, Department of Recreation, Department of Coaching Education and Department of Sports Management.
