The area on Fight against gender-based violence is active since 2008 and deals with: o Management of Level I and II reception services, including a Refugee House for women and minors victims of violence, ill-treatment or abuse; o Management of a Men's Centre for Authors of Violence recognised at regional level (pending the establishment of a specific register); o Prevention, information and awareness-raising projects addressed to communities, citizenship, schools; o Promotion of territorial awareness, information and fund-raising events; o Support and follow-up groups addressed to women former guests of the shelters.
