Mazeikiai Art School

Mažeikiai Art School is a public budget institution of the Mažeikiai District Municipality, established in 1989. We are a specialized educational institution that operates as both a formal education supplementing art school and a non-formal youth and adult education provider. Our mission is to foster creative, culturally empowered personalities and prepare youth for professional studies in architecture, fine arts, and design. The school provides a structured artistic curriculum for children and teenagers (aged 7 to 18), as well as elective programs for adults. Our core educational activities include: Fine Arts: Painting, drawing, and composition. Ceramics: Working with clay and professional firing techniques. Design & Graphics: Developing visual communication skills. Cultural Projects: Organizing exhibitions, workshops, plenaries, and summer camps. As per our official Statutes, we are authorized to participate in international educational and cultural projects. Our school is equipped with professional studios, ceramic kilns, and a team of professional art teachers. We aim to develop our students' citizenship and respect for cultural traditions through creative expression. Being a public body institution, we offer a reliable partnership for Erasmus+ Youth Exchanges (KA152-YOU). We are committed to creating a safe, healthy, and creative environment where young people can develop their competencies and collaborate with peers from across Europe.
