Circular Bioeconomy Hub

CBioHub (Circular Bioeconomy Hub) is a non-profit civil law company established in Central Macedonia, Greece, with the mission to promote the principles of the circular economy and bioeconomy at local, regional, and European level. Its vision is to accelerate the transition to sustainable production and consumption systems by combining scientific knowledge, innovation, and community engagement. CBioHub acts as a collaborative platform connecting research, policy, education, and practice. Through training, awareness-raising, and participatory Living Lab approaches, the organisation mobilises diverse stakeholders, including municipalities, schools, farmers, SMEs, and civil society. CBioHub has extensive experience in project design and implementation in the fields of circular economy, waste management, sustainable agriculture, biodiversity, and climate action. The organisation develops educational programmes, coordinates citizen engagement initiatives, and provides technical and scientific expertise in EU-funded and nationally funded projects. CBioHub also contributes to European cooperation networks and has built strong partnerships with municipalities, NGOs, universities, and private companies to support systemic change.
