Centre of Local Initiatives (Centrum Inicjatyw Lokalnych – CIL) is a Polish non-governmental organisation established in 2004. Over the years, we have gained extensive experience in implementing projects under various Erasmus+ programmes, including Adult Education, Youth Exchanges, and Vocational Education and Training (VET). Our team consists of experienced professionals with strong international backgrounds and a passion for developing innovative educational methods and learning opportunities. We have extensive expertise in coordinating European projects, managing international partnerships, and cooperating with educators, trainers, young people, and local communities. The main mission of the Centre of Local Initiatives is to promote employment and social activation among unemployed people and individuals at risk of social exclusion. We support young people in acquiring knowledge, skills, and qualifications that improve their employability and foster their personal and professional development. At the same time, we work to prevent the social exclusion of adults and seniors by promoting active ageing, lifelong learning, and community engagement. As a non-governmental organisation operating in the Zawiercie district, we actively support and stimulate local social initiatives. During more than 20 years of activity, we have successfully implemented numerous local, national, and international projects that have contributed to the development of our community. We continuously seek new opportunities for cooperation and innovative initiatives that create a positive social impact. Our key areas of expertise include: - promoting active citizenship and civic engagement; - combating social exclusion and fostering social inclusion; - labour market activation and employability; - non-formal education and lifelong learning; - youth empowerment and participation; - preserving local history and strengthening national and cultural identity; - international cooperation through Erasmus+ and other European programmes.
