The Institute for Development and Innovation – IDEI is a Romanian non-profit and non-governmental organisation founded in 2012. The organisation is based in Bacău County and works mainly with young people, adults, volunteers, educators and community stakeholders from rural areas and small towns. IDEI’s mission is to support personal development, social inclusion, active citizenship and sustainable local development through non-formal education, international cooperation and community-based initiatives. Our main target groups are young people aged 14–30, particularly young people with fewer opportunities, including those living in rural communities, young people facing economic or geographical barriers, NEETs, young people with limited access to international mobility and individuals who need additional support to participate in education and community life. IDEI designs and implements activities in the following areas: * non-formal education and youth work; * social inclusion and equal opportunities; * digital education and digital resilience; * online safety, media literacy and combating misinformation; * artificial intelligence education for young people; * active citizenship and democratic participation; * employability, entrepreneurship and personal development; * environmental awareness and sustainable development; * volunteering and community engagement; * inclusion of people with fewer opportunities; * adult education and lifelong learning. Our activities include training courses, youth exchanges, workshops, seminars, conferences, awareness campaigns, local consultations, volunteering activities, educational programmes and international partnership projects. IDEI combines local community knowledge with extensive experience in project management, European cooperation, training and grant-funded initiatives. The organisation’s team includes project managers, trainers, educators, researchers, volunteers and professionals with experience in Erasmus+, youth work, adult education, community development and international project implementation. The organisation has experience in developing project concepts, preparing applications, coordinating partnerships, organising local and international activities, working with participants with fewer opportunities, conducting research, developing educational materials, managing dissemination activities and supporting project evaluation and reporting. IDEI can contribute to European partnerships through: * project development and application writing; * project coordination and management; * recruitment and preparation of participants; * organisation of training courses, workshops and local activities; * development of non-formal education methods and training materials; * research, needs analysis and stakeholder consultation; * inclusion strategies for participants with fewer opportunities; * communication, visibility and dissemination; * cooperation with schools, public authorities, NGOs and local institutions; * testing and piloting educational tools in rural and small-town communities; * evaluation, quality assurance and exploitation of project results. IDEI is interested in building long-term partnerships under Erasmus+, the European Solidarity Corps and other European programmes. We are particularly interested in Youth Exchanges, Mobility of Youth Workers, Cooperation Partnerships, Small-scale Partnerships, participation projects, volunteering activities, adult education projects and initiatives focused on digital transformation, inclusion, employability, democracy and sustainable development. We are looking for reliable organisations that value transparent communication, shared responsibilities, quality implementation and sustainable cooperation. We welcome partnerships with NGOs, youth organisations, educational institutions, municipalities, social enterprises, training providers, schools, universities and other organisations working with young people and communities. IDEI believes that international cooperation should create practical and lasting benefits for participants and local communities. Our aim is not only to participate in individual projects, but to develop strong European partnerships based on trust, innovation, exchange of good practices and measurable social impact.
