AİBÜ Bolu School of Nursing

The college is a research, science and training organization that follows the notion of positive sciences with a broad vision which will not compromise national values. The mission of the organization is to train nurses who can provide preventive, remedial and rehabilitative care services to healthy individuals and patients, to families and to the community in national and international arena, who can take take active roles as trainer, practitioner, organizer and reseracher, who can communicate well, think critically, identfy problems and provide solutions with skills to utilize scientific tehnology in addition to undertake scientific studies in the development of society and the field of nursing. With these aims in mind, we strive for training nurses as personnel who can provide all types of health care to the society. Our graduates can easily find posts in public/private health and education establishments as practitioners, researchers and educators. Also, the instructors in the organization provides services to the society by participating in national and international projects. The staff has experienced many cases where the patients has been given faulty treatment, has been moved in a manner that is unhealthy for himself/herself, has in general hurt by the carer who provides informal care and has not received any training before. The organization feels the need for developing skills of carers in this regard and help them which in turn will help the patient and will cause relief from stress and undue damage to all parties involved.
