Chernivtsi regional organisation of "Сivil network OPORA"

We represent a regional part (Chernivtsi) of Ukrainian Civil Network OPORA, a non-governmental, non-political and financially independent network of activists. Strategic objectives of the Civil network “OPORA” are: • Ensure the openness and transparency of state and local government in Ukraine • Support and develop the social groups and environments at local communities • Develop and implement a training systems of community activists Priority areas: • Educational policy – public observation mechanisms for independent external testing (EIT) and admission to higher education in Ukraine • Election process – long-term monitoring and analysis of the electoral process • Youth work – Erasmus+ / EVS projects • Social Media, Open data and other IT activities Methods of work: monitoring and public control; research and policy analysis; civic, law and human rights education; social media lobbying; civic journalism, legislation development.
