Associação para a Formação Profissional e Desenvolvimento de Montijo is a non-profit making organisation located Montijo, Setúbal. Since 1987 Associação para a Formação Profissional e Desenvolvimento de Montijo has been working in the field of information, vocational/educational guidance and socio-educational services (youth work) addressed to young people and adults, employed and unemployed, public and private employees, with special attention to the disadvantaged (young people looking for their first job, women trying to go back to work, migrant people). Associação para a Formação Profissional e Desenvolvimento de Montijo conceives also new actions related to information and disseminations of opportunities addressed to young people within the European Union, promoting information and guidance meetings in universities, schools and youth centres. We are an Organization situated in the city of Montijo, Portugal. This city is medium city situated near to Lisbon. We started working with Leonardo da Vinci Program on 2004 and since than we have sent already many people abroad to do work experience. We also work has a host organization started to host youngsters in Montijo and because we belong to the Vocation School of the city, we establish a straight cooperation with the companies in our region, finding suitable work placements.
