Autonomia e Descoberta, CRL

The cooperative aim is the development of national and international activities, basing its action on the principles of non-formal learning and participating citizenship, promoting thus tolerance, inter-generational dialogue and rural and urban development. For the last one and a half year we have participated in numerous international projects under the Youth in Action program, giving participants the chance to develop skills and become aware of the importance if this cultural exchange and youth work. A&D has also organized international exchanges and training in Beja, providing participants with the chance for intercultural meetings based on social integration and active citizenship, as well as in youth entrepreneurship. A&D organizes every year a summer camp for young disadvantaged from 6 to 16 living in problematic areas, giving them the chance for self awareness in a different environment.
