Associazione Verbum

Verbum" is a cultural association dedicated to expand cultural and foreign languages activities to support a broad, intellectually driven approach to teaching language and culture in primary, secondary and higher education. But not only,it offers its services for long life leraning for youth and adults, specially in foreign language sector. In Rossano, this association is uspported by the Studio of languages consueling Verbum which is a foreign language center which has a reputation for providing a wide range of quality foreign language courses, expert teaching and excellent student services. Its courses and teaching are designed to provide effective training for students who need English or other foreign language for their work, study, travel or personal pleasure. To study the best ways of implementing this approach in today's world, Verbum tries to implement new methods for teaching L2, in order to change some negative and common results of second languages teaching/learning at schools. It began working in 2009 like a Language Center (Studio di Consulenza linguistica Verbum) and then the Association was created to face language study in higher education and not only but in an European dimension. We understand that everyone is unique with different needs and different goals. So, Verbum works with small students groups to pay attention to those personal goals and to have a good results with foreing languages certificate exams. The Association intends to go deep in a sector that is less developed in its city: development skills for the Europass. Normally, L2 are only studied at school as subjects and that's all. But students must know that nowadays learning a second language means to have the key that opens their future. It is the main focus that Verbum's activities pin.
