UNIVERSITY OF INONU FACULTY OF SPORT SCIENCES UNDERGRADUATE PROGRAMS 1. Department of Physical Education and Sports Teaching The program graduates teach physical education and sports in public and private schools. There are 201 physical education and sports teacher candidates active in the program as of the fall semester of . There are 3 associate professor & assistant professor, 1 Instructor, 2 Lecturers and 1 Research Assistant in the department. 2. Department of Coaching Education The main field of employment in the Coaching Education Department is the sports federations affiliated to the Ministry of Youth and Sports, General Directorate of Sports. In addition, autonomous sports federations, sports clubs and sports centers constitute the main areas of work. The department has both morning and evening program. In the Fall semester of the year , In the morning education, there are 207 coach candidates, and in the evening program there are 172 coach candidates who are actively trained. There are 379 coach candidates in total. There are 5 associate professor & assistant professor, 1 Lecturer, 3 Instructors and 1 Research Assistant in the department. 3. Department of Sport Management Sports Management Department is the main employment area; Sports Clubs General Directorate of Youth and Sports, Sports organizations, Sports clubs, Public relations department of companies, marketing department of companies, Human resources department of companies. As of the fall semester of , there are 191 Sports Manager candidates active in the program. There are 2 associate professor & assistant professor, 2 lecturers and, 2 research assistants in the department. 4. Department of Disabilities in Exercise and Sport Education The program graduates are trained in physical and emotional education in public and private schools. As of the fall semester of , there are 212 Exercise and Sports Teacher candidates active in the program. There are 2 associate professor & assistant professor, 1 Lecturer and 1 Instructor in the department. GRADUATE PROGRAMS The Graduate Program of the Faculty of Sports Sciences has 66 master’s degree students and, 34 students in the PhD program as of the fall semester of .
