Soc. Coop. Protea Onlus

Protea is a no-profit organization which work with NEETs and migrants, in particular asylum seekers, refugees, victims of trade. The organization gives services (such as Italian lessons for asylum seekers and refugees and cultural mediation service) to other organizations, but it is also engaged in carrying on different activities like the counseling. This is a service where people find qualified professionals if they need to talk about themselves, need information about documents, opportunities in town, Italian and European legislations concerning forced migration, support in writing cv and analyze skills, personal support. Moreover, Protea give free Italian lessons to victims of trade, in collaboration to a local organization in Sassari, who works with women who are forced in the prostitution market. The aim is to give an alternative to young women, starting with learning the language of the country they are living in. Protea also organises events and workshops concerning human rights, forced migration, integration. Other activities deal with supporting university students during their internships, giving them the opportunity to work in a multicultural environment.
