Sinop University Vocational School was established on 02.11.2001 by the decision of the Council of Higher Education in accordance with Article 2 of the 7/d Board of Law No. 6662. Accounting and Tax Applications, Computer Programming, Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics Programs, Fisheries and Underwater Technology Programs also continue their formal education. Sinop University Vocational School encompasses programs in Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, Mechanical Engineering, Computer Science, Accounting, and Subsea Technologies. Students complete their graduation after four semesters and 30 working days of internships. However, the most significant challenge for our graduates lies in unemployment. Many of our students face prolonged entry into the job market or difficulty securing employment matching their education, as highlighted in numerous national and international reports. In external stakeholder meetings, industry representatives express concerns about the shortage of qualified intermediate staff. In an effort to address this issue, Sinop University Vocational School is planning to apply for the European Union Erasmus+ KA220-VET project. The project aims to update the curriculum of vocational schools in line with digitalization processes and industry needs in one phase. Another phase focuses on student education and work experience mobility within EU member countries. We would be delighted to collaborate with you in this process. If you respond positively to our partnership invitation, we can share the project details online and refine them based on your suggestions. Your positive feedback would bring us great joy.
