À propos de l'organisation
Traduction du texte À propos…
Sàmara Natura is a non-profit cooperative project of education and environmental services, a space where society creates ties with nature. We want to implement a new eco-social model that ensures the well-being of communities, nature conservation and environmental sustainability. We design projects, promote actions and accompany processes adapted to each territory and sector of the population that seek this inclusive transformation, based on networking, cooperation and citizen participation. We are partners of the Nature Conservation Network and the Catalan Society for Environmental Education, two organizations of reference in the Catalan field in terms of environmental education and nature conservation. Being part of these organizations implies an active dedication to the protection of nature and the promotion of environmental education, with multiple benefits in terms of collaboration, training, resources and political and social advocacy. Sàmara is made up of two working partners: Montse, technical forestry engineer and Cristina, biologist and two collaborating partners. Samara is also all the collaborating entities and the volunteers and participants in our activities, who push us to work every day to awaken curiosity, empathy, critical thinking and social and environmental responsibility. Recently, we were awarded the first Nature and Society award for the "Links, weaving Nature with society" project, a collaborative project that links both the social and environmental entities of the territory in the conservation of nature. One of the reference projects of our educational work, and on which we are currently working, is "Living Courtyards, educational climate shelters", a learning and service project that addresses the improvement of biodiversity in the city through the naturalization of courtyards three schools and their immediate surroundings. Through it we have held several training sessions for school teachers and the educational community and also for the city's social agents. The project also contemplated the realization of several training and participatory sessions with the students of the schools. We offer to collaborate in educational projects that link society to nature: from projects that promote the recovery of the link with the earth, projects to renaturalize urban spaces, awareness campaigns for waste reduction, empowerment of young people to become agents of change and the integration of all of society, without distinctions, to make it possible and better. We are looking for educational centers that want to work with these objectives as well as entities that can guarantee their expertise in the naturalization of urban and educational spaces and, more generally, in the dynamism of society for a greater connection between man and nature. land and nature.
