Sportello Elp

Sportello Elp develops activities aimed at promoting local development as factor of social inclusion of weak people, thanks to new experiences and opportunities arising from participation at European programs. The educational activities put in place are designed to get citizens of reference area an awareness of being part of an economic, social and cultural context of european dimension. Particular attention is devoted to the younger population with the design of initiatives funded by the community program “Youth in Action”. Sportello Elp, with the tool of Youth in Action, has implemented an integration project in Italy with young immigrants and has been sending organization in several european countries for many italian guys since 2009, working with organizations in different states (Spain, France, Turkey, Latvia, Poland etc.). The organization believes that the creation of development opportunities for the weaker party of citizens must pass through the creation of new opportunities from the bottom that can detect real needs and really felt in the social and economic context. To achieve this purpose, the organization works with groups of people at high risk of social exclusion with the implementation of actions to combat this phenomenon and the proposal of training projects that may develop in people an awareness of their potential. The organization works in local schools and in all public and private social contexts and places in which can meet and support people at risk or potentially at risk of social exclusion. One of the most important expertise areas for Sportello Elp is to create business providing technical support for opening new business activities for disadvantaged people as a tool for their integration into society. Association's activity is based on well defined guidelines: 1. Experimentation of innovative ways of approach addressed to daily problems of citizens to fill the gap between the different territories of Europe; 2. Diffusion and consolidation of the sense of belonging to Europe by promoting knowledge of institutions and opportunities arising from participation at programs and actions. Sportello Elp will, also, share the experience of its human resources specialized in different fields: social, legal and new tecnologies to manage and conduct workshops, events and activities in which explore the themes of European development.
