Spintheras

Spintheras is an informal youth group dedicated to empowering young people through a combination of sports, healthy living, and creative digital engagement. Our vision is to create inclusive, supportive environments where youth can thrive physically, mentally, and socially, regardless of background. Our Main Activities Sports & Active Living Initiatives: Spintheras organizes regular sports events, fitness workshops, and outdoor activities that encourage teamwork, discipline, and a healthy lifestyle. From local tournaments to inclusive fitness sessions, our programs are open to all young people. Healthy Lifestyle Education: We conduct workshops and campaigns on nutrition, mental health, stress reduction, and substance abuse prevention—equipping young people with tools for a balanced and sustainable lifestyle. Social Media & Digital Creativity: Understanding the power of digital platforms, we train youth in responsible and impactful social media use. Our activities include content creation workshops, digital storytelling, and campaigns that promote positive online behaviors, activism, and mental health awareness. Youth Mobility & Intercultural Learning: Spintheras actively participates in Erasmus+ and ESC programs, offering young people opportunities to engage in international youth exchanges, training courses, and intercultural dialogue—broadening their perspectives and building a European identity. Our Approach Non-Formal & Experiential Learning: All our activities use participatory, learner-centered methods such as role-plays, games, peer learning, and reflection to create meaningful educational experiences. Youth Empowerment: We involve young people in every step of project development—from idea generation to facilitation—strengthening their leadership and organizational skills. Inclusion & Equity: We focus on reaching marginalized youth, including those facing economic, social, or cultural barriers, and ensure that our activities are welcoming and accessible to all. LOOKING TO JOIN AS A PARTNER Spintheras is actively seeking domestic and international partners for Erasmus+ projects, youth exchanges, training courses, and collaborative initiatives.
