À propos de l'organisation
Traduction du texte À propos…
Since 2002, we have focused our efforts on young people and social intervention, which is reflected in the way we develop all our projects, namely the Clube do Jamor (for the elderly), Family Support and Entertainment Activities (AAAF), Family Support Component for primary school children and the Toy Library for secondary school children,as well as Psychological Support in the Union of Parishes of Algés Linda-a-Velha Cruz-Quebrada/Dafundo. We promote youth employment and training, youth volunteering, community, sports and environmental volunteering through the IPDJ (Portuguese Institute for Sport and Youth) and we are a regulated holiday camp organisation. We always aim for greater cohesion, well-being and participation in local development, focusing on youth as a driver of change. In our work, we prioritise respect for human dignity and the social appreciation of the different cultures that make up our community. Guided by our vision, in which we believe in a world where the vast majority of people are proactive, socially responsible and happy to feel like an integral part of the society in which they live, we have set ourselves the mission of combating school failure, creating conditions for the integration and training of young people in the and prevent the abandonment of the elderly, always prioritising the bio-psycho-social well-being of our community, from a dynamic and ecological perspective. AJUDE is a youth association, with and for young people, focused on social intervention, which is reflected in the way it develops all its projects, with a view to greater cohesion, well-being and participation in local development. Currently, AJUDE focuses its action on more than 330 users, residing in the municipality of Oeiras, most of whom live in economically and socially disadvantaged areas. It is through the concerted action and partnership of multidisciplinary technical teams, based daily in the various areas, that AJUDE is able to promote constant proximity work, acting as a facilitator of change and social development.
