Songs for Rights (SfR) www.songsforights.org is a European programme and network dedicated to promoting EU values and human rights education through music and non-formal learning, operating within the International Academy Berlin for Innovative Pedagogy, Psychology and Economics (INA gGmbH). Bringing together 26 youth and cultural organisations from 13 European countries, SfR works at the intersection of youth work, culture, and digital innovation. Central to its approach is the LACPA methodology (Learn – Assimilate – Create – Produce – Advocate), which uses music as a pedagogical tool to foster dialogue, critical reflection, creative expression, participation, and advocacy among young people. Songs for Rights designs and delivers capacity-building programmes, training-of-trainers, international workshops, and digital learning formats, with a strong focus on inclusion, safe learning spaces, and participatory, music-based education. The programme contributes transferable, practice-oriented resources and benefits from close links to the wider European youth work ecosystem, strengthening its reach and impact across Europe.
