TechBDI (Technology Beyond Disability Initiative) is a Nigeria-based nonprofit organization committed to advancing inclusive digital education, youth leadership, sustainable development, and advocacy for women, girls, Deaf learners, and persons with disabilities in underserved communities. We are committed to delivering inclusive, non-formal digital education programs that equip young people with future-ready skills in digital literacy, coding, artificial intelligence, creative design, entrepreneurship, and youth leadership development. Our approach prioritises accessibility, participation, and equity—ensuring that learners from underrepresented groups are not left behind in technology, innovation, and sustainable development. TechBDI has implemented impactful community-based initiatives including inclusive training programs, mentorship, and innovation challenges, particularly through Technovation and the Inclusive Digital Skills Learning (IDSL) program in Nigeria’s Federal Capital Territory. These initiatives empower young people to build confidence, strengthen leadership skills, and develop practical solutions to real-world challenges. We are deeply committed to gender equality, disability inclusion, and sustainable development, with a strong focus on ensuring that women, girls, Deaf learners, and persons with disabilities are actively included in the digital transformation and innovation ecosystem. TechBDI is open to meaningful international collaboration and actively seeks partnerships within Erasmus+ and other global youth development programs. We are available to contribute as a local implementation partner, co-facilitator, or inclusion-focused organization in projects related to digital inclusion, youth work, non-formal education, capacity building, youth leadership, and sustainable development.
