The Caravanserai Collective

The Caravanserai Collective designs and delivers community-centred programmes that strengthen trust, social cohesion and collaborative action. We work alongside local organisations, young people, community leaders, educators, journalists, and artists to help communities navigate difference, address shared challenges and build more inclusive futures. Our work combines storytelling, dialogue and experiential learning to create spaces where people can listen deeply, share lived experience and develop practical skills for collaboration. We work with communities to build local leadership, strengthen networks and equip participants with approaches they can continue using long after a programme ends. Since 2017, we have partnered with civil society organisations, foundations, universities, governments and international agencies across Asia, Europe, Africa and beyond. Our programmes have addressed issues including social cohesion, intercommunity relations, gender equality, youth leadership, civic participation, community resilience and peacebuilding.
