EDRASE

EDRASE is a non for profit, educational company founded in 2010. its aims include the promotion of Science and Social Sciences and culture in Greece and in the EU taking up actions such as Seminars, lectures, discussions. Science cafe, seeking collaboration in EU available programs and production of educational material. For these purposes it employs related existing foundations such as programs that can be:  Local  National  European EDRASE also works closely with institutions such as:  The Ministry of Education, lifelong Learning and Religious Affairs.  The Ministry of Environment, Energy and Climate change  I.K.Y (State Scholarship Foundation) acting as a national point (or the national Lifelong Learning Program (LLP)  EACEA- The Educational, Audiovisual and Cultural Affairs Agency of the EU. The participation the EU Lifelong lemming Programme (LLP) is our priority. The subsections of the LLP that EDRASE participates in, concerning various levels of education and skill acquisition are: Grundtvig referring to the European collaborator in adult education for all non vocational formal and informal types of education but also in educating teachers Comenius referring to the didactical and teaching needs in pre-school and school education up to secondary school education, in institutions and organizations that provide this kind of education and teachers' education as well. Leonardo da Vinci referring to institutions and organizations that provide language and professional skill acquisition opportunities. Sconce Cafe Science and Technology are present in every aspect of modern every day life and they play a catalytic role in shaping social, cultural and economic beliefs The educational activities society (EDRASE) presenting seminars and lectures series through organizing a bi-monthly Science Café aims in assisting understanding basic principles about issues that get complicated by ignorance and wrong information Such issues already presented include.  Medicine assisted reproduction: questions and applications*  Cancer immunology/immunotherapy  Current economic crisis: The Kali goddess or the spinning dervish.  The history and anticipated future of Medical Science*
