Deep Connections Forest School and Training Consultants provide a wide range of activities for youth within the Forest Environment. It is a premier outdoor learning, support and pedagogical research Institute for youth/ young adults and youth leaders. It's aim is to expose youth to the woodland in a more engaging way by delivering and supporting high quality experiences and trainings in both Forest and woodland settings. The Forest provides the perfect environment for youth to explore their natural world and connect to a deeper sense of themselves. The journey through the Forest allows for exploration, learning, leadership and co-operation, reflection, and meditation - in essence it holds a space for us to reflect our own journey through life and explore deeper levels of questioning regarding 'who we are?' 'why we are here?" 'what is our gift to the world?' interconnectedness' and 'how we have choice -what we do to create choice?' 'how we can play with the infinite possibilities bestowed on us?" 'how can we create the world we want to live in?' Deep Connections Forest School and Training Consultants are committed to informal training in the woodland, encouraging youth to: become resilient, increase their self esteem, develop their team leadership and co-operation skills, Benefit risk assessments of space, use the woodland to learn survival skills -fire making, cooking, den making, tracking, craft making, musical instrument making, working with tools, playing and connecting deeper with their environment. This promotes health and well-being on all levels spiritual, mental, emotional and physical. All the while fostering a sense of belonging, respect and pride for the woodland, creating more profound relationships with it's nature -trees, plants, wildlife, plants and biodiversity through sustainable practices and awareness of woodland management.
