Mladinski svet Kamnik

Our organisation is a youth council of the local community that brings together 9 youth organisations of our municipality. The main aims of the organisation are to strengthen the cooperation between member organisations themselves and the local community, improve the level of work in member organisations, represent them and other youth to the public and to authorities and to stand for youth and youth policies in public affairs. Our main activities include representing the youth in the municipality (seats in comittees, lobbying for projects and policies) as well as on the national level (networking with national-level organisations). We also organise conferences, classes, workshops and debates with emphasis on running youth NGOs, politics and policies.
