CONTROVENTO Social Cooperative

Controvento was born in 2011 and has so far more than 100 employees. Our aim is that of promoting social inclusion and re-qualifying public spaces through different activities: organizing musical and cultural events, promoting socio-organic food services, developing professional training and writing social projects. Controvento has mainly two bases: the main one is in Venice at Forte Marghera where we organize cultural festivals, social events and gigs; the second one is in Friuli Venezia Giulia Region at San Floriano, a 40 hectares rural and natural park where we run two hostels and, through a short supply chain, we serve our own products, employing disadvantaged people. Our aim is that of becoming an interregional benchmarck in social inclusion delivering professional training and empowering organic farming.
