The open youth work Birsfelden is an institution of JuAr Basel, financed trough the village of Birsfelden. It is politically and religiously neutral. The main emphasis of it`s work is an open meeting point for youth between 12 and 20 years. Next to this, together with the youth, the youth workers develop some projects. To the open youth work, the mobile youth work belongs to also. The mobile youth worker is working only in the streets and visit the youth in their lifeworld.
