Community Youth Initiative Liberia

The Community Youth Initiatives (CYI)- Liberia Inc. is a Health, Sanitation, and Educational organization within district #4, Montserrado county Republic of Liberia. This organization was founded October 10, 2014 during the outbreak of the "EBOLA" virus that took away thousands of lives in Liberia. The aims and objectives of this unique organization are as follows: (1) Promoting the skills, talents, and developmental initiatives of young people. (2) Improving Health, and Sanitation conditions within Paynesville and its surroundings. (3)Promoting women, and adolescent girls skills training programs such as: TIE and DYE, SOAP MAKING, TAILORING, PASTRY, COSMETOLOGY, HIV and AIDS, DRUGS ABUSE, RAPE ETC..... (4)Prioritizing vocational training and counseling programs (5) Organizing educative workshops on garbage control and danger of waste within various communities. (6) Partnering with Paynesville City Corporation (PCC), and other partners so as to minimize the spread of garbage within the Liberian society
