NEOS - Personal development centre

NEOS - Personal development centre was founded in 2006. by a group of young experts in education, mostly school counselors (school psychologists). We started with workshops aimed at facilitation of social skills in children who lack them and also with workshops for potentialy gifted children. We had good results in both, but that experience showed us that much broader implementation of our efforts is needed in society wich is becaming more and more passive - our workshops were attended mostly children of good, caring parents - children who already have good custody. We wanted to change that and, after we made scientific research on the matter, to transfer our humanistic causes and beliefes on wider range of people. So we decided to do that through enhancing societys' culture. At this stage we work today. In 2011. we gathered whole range of young and creative people to make medival-fantasy festival. It proved to be good idea since all we wanted to enhance through our workshops was done here - communication, motivation, team work, creativity, planning, problem solving... but on much greater scale. So we decidet to keep going with this approach in years to come.
