Associazione Teatro Atlante

Since 10 years Teatro Atlante has been working especially in theatrical researching and producing. Its production is linked to research and innovation through shows based on social theme and children's world. Teatro Atlante also exploits theater to valorise urban spaces with moving shows, parades and street shows, in which theater is used as a way to involve people and retrain places with a historical-monumental importance and disused ones. This Association uses theater as a tool to investigate real life and creates shows because of the necessity to face up to theme and questions linked to actuality in a continuous contamination between life and theater. A huge importance is given to youth's training and to studies about the art of the actor; this is why since 2005 Teatro Atlante has been conducting theatrical training class in its own venue and has been promoting workshops and seminaries with great masters of this art. Teatro Atlante also wants to spread theatrical culture with new generations, playing shows in different grades school in Palermo and environ and promoting formative classes for students and teachers. It works in his own place where you can enjoy reviews, concerts and theatrical shows very important for national and international scene.
