Farabi Talks

Farabi Talks is an educational platform that sheds light on the visions for the future and we are a member of the United Nations Global Compact. We make university students meet with shining experiences every week in various universities with different topics to inspire them to become entrepreneurs for the future. We have progressed a lot for five years in line with the Ten Principles of the UN Global Compact on human rights, labour, environment and anti-corruption by reaching 7958 participants with over 46 talks in 35 different locations. With this communication, we express our intent to implement those principles. 487 students graduated successfully from Farabi Talks with a sense and respect of the Ten Principles of the Un Global Compact. Our vision is to embellish university campuses regularly and systematically by making experts (shining experiences) meet with students to share their experiences with students. Our mission is to implement this process globally in every university with the framework of the ten Principles of the UN Global Compact. We have held over 47+ events including 8958+ participants and in terms of curriculum integration, we followed a different method by integration of experts (shining experiences) with universities for first-hand experiences. University students are inspired by experts' talks and they decide what to do after graduation with a determined conscious. This process is called by us as Hidden Curriculum that indirectly impact students' academic and intellectual decisions gradually. Thanks to this program design, an unwilling and indecisive student wants to become an entrepreneur after this program. 453 student have started their startup, some of them failed and some achieved their goals. In the end, corporate responsibility and sustainability are achieved in this program in the second sessions where brainstorming are done about the first session when the experts talk about their presentations.
