Our MISSION: The purpose of the AIA - Mengeš Youth Center is to organize safe and professionally supported conditions for meeting the various development needs that are necessary for the normal development of adolescents and the establishment of an autonomous space for the realization of the interests of young people in the local community Mengeš and wider (in our MC are welcome all young people, including from other municipalities, regions or countries), which is in short: organizing youth activities in various fields with the active participation of adolescents, promoting their autonomy, creativity, integration of marginal groups of adolescents, providing supportive environment, mentoring and various information , professional counseling and help according to the wishes and needs of adolescents, promotion of active leisure time, providing conditions in the process of socializing young people by fostering social s between them, developing the youth's self-image, encouraging the independent socializing of young people, meeting development needs and personality development, help in educational and professional ambitions, decisions and dilemmas of young people, promotion of voluntary work and active participation in the life of the local and wider environment, and intergenerational cooperation, whilst ensuring consistent equality of all, regardless of position, lifestyle, affiliation, disability or other differences, influencing the development of positive values, animation for planning and participation in decision-making, support for projects where young actors are involved, providing the best possible conditions for the development of youth work, personal development, development of youth potentials, intergenerational integration, accessibility and information flow. Therefore, we place great emphasis on strengthening open, high-quality and sincere relations and promoting solidarity among young people.
