Representative person: Anna Iwańska –board president of SMART The Education Foundation SMART The main goal of the Foundation’s activity is to support education at various grounds, among others by organizing traineeships, courses and trainings for students, teachers and administrative staff from schools and other educational institutions. The Foundation has numerous s with workplaces, companies and institutions interested in cooperation in traineeships, courses and tuitions. Currently our foundation is involved in three projects: we cooperate with the Municipal Social Welfare Centre in Żory (MOPS w Żorach) in a project regarding the functioning of foster families and with the Silesian University of Technology (Politechnika Śląska) in terms of a railway transport project, as well as with Technical Educational Centre in Dąbrowa Górnicza (TZN w Dąbrowie Górniczej) we work on a project aimed at improving professional skills by organizing and conducting professional English courses. We specialize in: - organizing activities for young people - inclusion of young people with fewer opportunities - tackling early school leaving - work for the elderly people - prevention of social exclusion - education through art - increasing legal and civic awareness - education on legal aspects of taking up first employment - counteracting cyberbullying - work for equal opportunities - dissemination of legal aspects of the use of online resources - increasing awareness of personal data protection - supporting entrepreneurship and undertaking economic activities - work with students with special educational needs - creating and organizing alternative forms of spending free time - organization of apprenticeships, internships and volunteering, - spreading awareness about healthy habits People involved in the Education Foundation SMART: Ewa Bartosińska - is the author of LdV, LLP and Erasmus + mobility projects, she coordinated their implementation and financial settlement. Since 2016, she has been organizing internships under programs co-financed from EU Funds. She was the author and coordinator of 12 projects.
