Kohila Open Youth Center grew out of Kohila Children's Day Center, which was established in 2003. In May 2020, the youth center turned 17 years old! The Youth Center is an institution based on the principles of youth work, the aim of which is to support the diverse development of young people. All young people aged 7 (school age) - 26 years old are welcome to spend their free time at the youth center. Different hobbies take place in the youth center, and together with the young people, various projects are written and carried out, also trips, camps, etc. are organized. In addition to that, they take part in competitions, engage in charity, etc. In carrying out the activities, the youth workers follow the wishes of the young people themselves and support them in implementing the ideas. Participation in the work of the youth center is voluntary and free of charge for young people.
