It takes care of the awareness of the citizens for their participation in voluntary actions, which mainly concern issues: Environment and Emergencies, Social Welfare and Health, Youth, Culture and Sports. Keeps a file of volunteers. Takes care of the training of the volunteers in cooperation with the other service units. Takes care of the activation of the groups of volunteers so that they are in constant readiness for their auxiliary activity and the assistance to the Services of the Municipality that deal with respective issues. It is responsible for collecting and sending humanitarian aid. Organizes fundraisers to raise money and goods for charity. Collaborates with the General Secretariat for Youth. Collaborates with public bodies related to volunteering (General Secretariat for Adult Education, General Secretariat for Civil Protection, Fire Brigade, etc.). Implements actions and programs in the areas of interest of the Young Generation. Maintains the youth register and cooperates with the local Youth Council to take initiatives and activities for the full and free development of young people. Takes care of the organization and implementation of programs aimed at young people and participates in the planning and programs of the General Secretariat for Youth. Monitors the operation and action of municipal structures and legal entities that implement programs and actions.
