ESSTEAM

As a non-profit association based in Tourcoing, in Hauts-de-France, ESSTEAM has been working for more than 30 years close to the inhabitants to co-build a more humane, inclusive and united society. Its purpose is to develop and host sustainable social innovation actions that respond to the social and societal challenges expressed by the actors in its intervention territories. In connection with the values of popular education and those of the Social, Solidarity and Ecological Economy, the group currently defines all of its actions around four transversal pillars : • Participatory democracy, the power to act and the involvement of residents ; • The development of mutual aid and solidarity networks in the territories ; • Digital inclusion, especially of the most precarious people. • Ecological and solidarity transition
