Parchitaway

As future health professionals we were concerned about people our age unhealthy lifestyle and lack of knowledge about topics like nutrition, sexual health, mental health, benefits of excersice or health awarness in general. Therefore, we founded Parchitaway (name that comes from the union of the words “Parchita”, that is the way we say passion fruit in the Canaries, and “away”) with the aim of increasing awareness among young people in the previous mentioned topics through non-formal learning while promoting other aspects such as social inclusion, diversity, equity or gender equality. As a group of young people that have participated in multiple Erasmus+ programs we also deeply believe that cultural diversity enriches Europe and our modern society. Consequently, we also want to encourage an intercultural dialogue among young people since we consider it a powerful tool against stereotyping, racism, xenophobia, intolerance, discrimination and violence
