La Ligue de l'enseignement 22

The Ligue de l'enseignement is a secular movement of popular education. Founded in 1866 by Jean Macé, it represents and defends associationism at local, regional and national levels. Through educational, cultural, sporting and recreational activities, 103 departmental federations support associations in 24,000 municipalities. For over 25 years, the Ligue de l'enseignement des Côtes d'Armor (based in Saint Brieuc, France) has helped strengthen international relations by organising meetings where young people from very different cultures can meet and come together through joint activities. Regular relations have been established with Tunisia, Poland, Morocco, Italy, Spain, Portugal, Germany, Hungary, the Czech Republic, Lithuania, etc. through youth volunteering, international meetings and the European Solidarity Corps.
